help advice please alloys xj350 xf
Hi Adam,
Not sure that will work.
First, the offset may be different, yous should check.
But more seriously, XF wheels are staggered, from what I know, while X350s have the same wheels, front and rear.

Adam,
In general it is not recommended to put staggered wheels on a car that was not designed for it because it may alter the overall balance in ride.
In the EU (at least in Belgium) that would be forbidden because not in accordance with the European Certificate of Conformance (all the authorised dimensions of tyres and rims are put therein). That would be immediately visible during a yearly Technical Control and the vehicle would not pass the MOT.
Also, putting wheels with an offset departing by more than 10 mm with regard to specs may lead to increased load and wear of bushes and joints.
Now, if you want to pursue, up to you...

Your current wheels seem to be the 7.5Jx17CH49 so-called "winter" Jaguar wheels for the X350.
This means a width of 7.5", a diameter of 17" and an offset of 49mm, in full accordance with the CoC.
They should be fitted with 235/55 R17 99W tyres, meaning a width of 235mm, a flange height of 55% of 235 mm, an internal diameter of 17", a load index of 99 and a W speed index (up to 270 km/h).
The X350 CoC records the following dimensions for wheels and tyres (same for front and rear):
- 235/55 R17 99W tyres with 7.5Jx17CH49 rims;
- 235/50 R18 97W tyres with 8Jx18CH49 rims;
- 255/40 R19 96Y tyres with 8.5Jx19CH49 rims; and
- 255/35 R20 97Y tyres with 9.0Jx20CH49 rims.
You cannot choose a lower speed index (there is a tolerance of one index lower for winter tyres, though).
You also cannot put a lower load index.
Please take care that the indexes vary with the size of the rims/tyres.
I do not know what are your soon to be wheels.
I suggest that you look at their specs (or ask the vendor) and check whether they are recorded in the CoC (my doubts, as they are staggered).
Then make your mind accordingly
