Default Help Identify suspect connection

Hi all,
Can yall help me identify this connection? It's a 2004 XJ8. I was under the hood and notice this connection that could be compromised. It appears to be torn. It's on the driver's side of the engine. Can anyone tell me what this is and should I be worried that it is frayed. Thanks.

It's the connector to the Air Strut (Firm/Soft is selectable by the air strut system).
Your connector, whilst exposed, looks typical for the age I opine.

Aaah, Thanks a bunch. That alleviates some worry. I'll make a note of it in case I have issues in the future.
