Default Help ob2 code P0577

Hello there I need help. I have a code that's not letting me pass the DEQ test. And it's the one code that's coming up as P0577. Any idea what that might be or has anyone came across that. Thank you.

You have an electrical prblem with your cruise control. Check switches in cabin and at the throttle.

Your are also on the wrong board: this is for the older X308 XJ8 series not 04 - 09 XJ 8s.

Sergius,

I've moved your question from X308 to X350 forum. Members here with the same model will be able to help.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

I am not familiar with the X350 cruise control: on the 308, In the CABIN there are control switches on the steering wheel and an on/off switch to the left of the S switch under the J-gate. And another connector on the throttle body. I would check that the equivalents on your car are inserted correctly with no frayed wires. Then go into the stickies and pull the wiring diagram and begin tracing. Start with the fuses. OR take it to a good auto electrical shop or the dealer (bring $$$).
