Welcome to the forum Alexis,

I've copied this question from your Intro.

Members here with the same model will be able to advise on the suspension issue.

I would get the height sensors checked out. Suspension height may need recalibrating. Rear has two sensors, one for each side, front has one that controls left and right together.

Hi Alexis,

If both rear corners are equally too high, it is possible there is a problem with the valve block, which is mounted under the carpeted panel in the trunk, near the air reservoir. The valve block apportions air to the front shocks together, and the rear shocks separately, to maintain the correct ride height.

It is also possible there is a problem with the exhaust valve, which is part of the compressor assembly, which is mounted inside the front left bumper cover. The exhaust valve releases system pressure when the Air Suspension Control Module determines that is necessary to level the car. If the exhaust valve is corroded or otherwise stuck in the closed position, the system cannot release excess pressure to level the car.

Since each rear wheel has a separate height sensor, I suspect that both sensors or their electrical circuits would have to fail to cause both rear corners to at the same elevated level, and it seems unlikely that both sensors would fail simultaneously.

I do think you would be well advised to have the dealer check for any diagnostic trouble codes related to the air suspension. Armed with that information, you may be able to conduct the necessary repairs yourself.

Cheers,

Don

If you still have the car battery disconnected, it wouldn't hurt to clean the battery posts and the battery clamps. Keep the battery disconnected for a good 20 minutes, and then securely reconnect the battery clamps. This will cause the computer to perform a hard reboot that "hopefully" will clear those faults.

Remove the clamp from the car battery's negative post, and then reconnect the clamp after 20-30 minutes.

I'm sorry that you incurred other faults with the car, but it sounds like you should consider having the dealer look into it.
