Default Help with Super V8 upper radiator hose

About 18 months ago I bought a complete set of hoses, water pumps, etc. for my 2005 Super V8. It started leaking yesterday so I tore into it today. My old upper radiator hose doesn't match the new hose I received. My hose has just the 2 connections for the radiator and thermostat housing. Then it uses a separate C2C1984 hose to get down to the heater core tubes from the thermostat housing. The new hose is C2C32836, it is a bit longer and has a T in it to go down to the heater core tubes. Apparently there's a different thermostat housing out there that is shorter, and doesn't have the port for the C2C1984 hose.

Does anyone know what part number I need to order to get the right hose?
Thanks!

The supercharged engine uses JLR part number C2C16212 for the upper radiator hose, which supersedes C2C10865. It appears you have an aftermarket hose designed for a normally aspirated engine.

I have the same problem as OP, supplier sent me the same, wrong top hose.
Why is C2C16212 so expensive? >$100 for a right angle bend hose?

Has anyone used aftermarket hoses?

I just used the OEM hose. After buying every other hose, coolant expansion tank, water pump, thermostat, aux pump, heater tubes, and everything else I've changed I decided $100 wasn't too much more to just do it right.

Siliconeintakes.com has 90 degree hose elbows that might work, or you could spend an hour in the back of an auto parts store matching up something close.

You got also supercharged but for the newer cars with VINs from G49701- up. Had to change that hose also when mine ballooned and have to figure out the difference before ordering..

Parts.com has OEM type not URO hoses. I recently got a expansion tank hose plus constant tension clips a la Jaguar there at an almost reasonable price.

Correction. It was auto parts warehouse. Got it for little more than a URO piece and it looks original. (Made in Turkey) Parts.com has good diagrams of the relevant areas though.

Just a heads up, the upper rad hose for the XJ SC engines 04-05 is the same as the hose for the STR (at least in 03). Went through this a little while back with my 05 SV8. Since we have both a 03 STR and 05 SV8, it's easy to compare parts! I did post this up somewhere on here a while ago but I know things can get lost. Also, cost was about $60-70 if I remember right, not the $100+.
