How to lock a 06 SV8 from outside while running
Has anyone found a way to lock a X350 from the outside while its running?
There are times I would like to lock the car while it is running to warm up, or cool down the cabin. Can this be done with a second key. My older jags would do this by reaching in from the rear door and locking the front, but this is not possible with a x350. I know that it cant be done with the fob when the key is in the ignition. And the interior door lock is inop when the door is open.
Any ideas? Valet, second fob?
The LAST thing I want to do while experimenting, is find out that I can lock with spare key but NOT UNLOCK with spare key! This would make for a really bad day, and a really stupid situation.
