Bad Catalytic Convertor
So the saga continues. The federal warranty ran out three weeks before I took it in. JAG USA was no help with the bad oil change, didn't tighten oil filter, that left oil down my street, well they did say they would now pick up the car and clean the car. Not to mention they did the oil change after the Detail and left grease all over the drivers seat. Just a bad day. THE QUISTION is should I spend $1,800 for a new Catalytic convertor or put on new pipes. When you put on a new exhaust system does it include the Catalytic convertors? How much for the new system and which one?

Exhausts are almost always "cat back" and do not include converters. If you use an aftermarket high flow converter you're looking at a re-tune of the ECU. Your cheapest route is an OEM converter. Mine went bad before the warranty. Was it the drivers side?
Might as well get 100 cell cats installed whilst your at it , it will free up some power and improve sound
I had left and right 100cell cats installed on my xk for $850aud
