Default How to take bumper cover off

I got the radiator grille and the splash guard out. Unclipped the bumper cover from the headlights, removed the fender splash guard screws - it still won't come off. Right side moves a bit back and forth but that's it.

How does the bumper cover come off? The manual mentions "remove retaining clips" - picture shows four arrows on the side, but I can't find anything. Pressing up/down front back - does not do any good.

Please help.

once grill is out... remove torxs that hold the bumper on to the front wheel well arches.. maybe 4 on either side.. once that is done remove 3 10mm bolt that hold the bumper valence to the lower cars valence .. once that is done.. remove both front marker assemblies just pry them out with a piece of plastic .. or they may brake in half when you pull the bumper out.. there may also be one torxs on either side.. one at the bottom of the actual bumper were the bumber meets the arch its the last screw on either side .. the screw goes vertical.. once there out.. grab one side of the bumper from the wheel arch and pull it hard.. one fast pull.. and it shud come out.. bumper is just clipped together.

Thaks jag_genus, I was not sure about the last part, how to unclip it - eventually I got it out. I didn't do the sidemarker lamps tough they seemed fine - may be I got lucky.

Both my sidemarker lamps were blown out - replaced them with LEDs since I have no spare bulbs and it's Sunday.

OK, 17 years later...
(this thread was listed as first when searching for "bumper cover" so let me add my 2c here)
I hate pulling hard on anything on the car so instead of yanking the sides of the bumper cover I used a screw-driver and through the "service hole" in the wheel well I released the metal lip of the bumper cover from those three retaining clips that hold it on the wing.
Once done it was clear that yanking the sides is actually okay here, as the clips are slanted on both sides.
