While my reader (Icarsoft LR V.30) doesn't identify VIN, it does allow me to enter the car in a series of drop-downs. So, assuming it is identifying the car, why do I not get "p" codes?
Not getting any P codes for my 2004 XJR. Am I doing something wrong or does this dang thing just not read them? Thanks, SS
Steve, I saw somewhere that it will not read the 04s. I thought it read mine one time, but it won't now. Gives an error message along the lines of "slow communication" then won't read any codes. Will cycle some modules. I started to throw it in the trash until I read that on the 04s.
So, I tried it on my 09 and it will read the codes. Have to select Jaguar though.
Their customer service is non-existent and the upgrade download won't work either. If I could find something else that worked with the 04, I'd buy it. And it's getting difficult to find parts for the 04. I'm wondering whether or not I should pass it on.
Thanks so very much. Based on the documentation, in some cases poorly translated, this appears to be another shody Chinese company. I wish that I hadn't purchased.
2005 At G49... stars the x356 with major improvements.
I have an xj6 from 2003 and do have and LR V3.0.
can't red the vin , have to give it in , do get P codes, but does not work on airsuspension
It does not read mine 2004 from day one!
I can read many specific functions, but only manual mode.
Their service department does not like to be bothered with your problems!
On the ICARSOFT subject, I have a L600V1.0. It seems to work on my 05 VDP but not on my 03 Range Rover or anything else. Are these damn things any good for anything but specific year Jags and Rovers?
