My 2003 XJ6 has an intermittent problem with the instrument panel. It can drive perfectly but then a buzz noise comes from behind the ignition and all the gauges fail momentarily......the engine doesn't skip a beat.... Any ideas ???

 

Sounds like a bad electrical connection, the buzzing may well be due to arcing.
