The "factory" system is called an Audio Connectivity Module, which gives you an iPod/USB/AUX input by emulating a CD changer.

The only other option to keep the Touchscreen is a completely external device like an FM modulator or something like a Parrot or Pure Highway.

I've gone for the ACM in both my cars, it works just fine for me

Here it is working with a USB stick.

I have a Dice FMRDS-USB-PRO, new in box that I purchased but never fitted

DICE Electronics - Universal RDS USB

I was going to fit it for Ipod control but have used the ACM. I have an Adnroid based replacement for the Nav (with touch screen control) And feed music via the acm audio using that which made the ipod fairly useless.

Ipod control via acm gives you steering wheel control but no onscreen feedback of track/artist/album ect

The Dice gices you the on screen track/artist/album ect via rds on the radio but you don’t get steering wheel control

Hope that helps

Should be able to get it from your local jaguar dealer -the ACM is an official Jaguar accessory.

Cost is around $3-400 in the US at least here is a link to someone who installed it,

I don’t remember who thought of this first, but I’m not going to take credit for it.
Using an online text-to-voice website, e.g. VozMe, you can record short mp3’s which read out the Artist and Album name. Simply give this mp3 file a name so it is alphabetically at the start of the album, and when you select that album, it will read out the artist/name to you. It’s brilliant!
