Purchased in 2003.

I asked this question some weeks ago. The engine does not respond. The battery is fully charged. All electrics working OK.
My problem is I cannot get the gear shift from Parking into neutral so that I can get the car towed to a specialist. Someone suggested there is a lever under the gear shift, tried this aand it doesn' happen. Any suggestions

 

I am not sure why feel you needed to start a new thread for the unresolved problem you were having in June. The history would very much help those would like to help you.

Have a towing company collect your car and take it to the Jaguar dealer for repair. The towing company may need to put your rear wheels on wheel dollies so they can pull it onto a flat bed. Towing companies ought to be well versed in how to pick up a car whose rear wheels will not move.
