You can DIY or send it to Ben. That's what I did.

I have been in touch with Ben Willcox, "jagdroid", on facebook, he got back to me and said if I send him my touchscreen head unit he can upgrade it for a price and send back to me, options were, strip out my own and send it, or source a used unit and send that, so I could keep using my car until the upgraded unit was ready, I opted for this route, mainly because, my car has the touchscreen with the Tape deck, rather than the CD deck, both can be converted, but using the tape deck means it "could be noisy", so I got a head unit with CD deck from ebay for £90 and another £5 for a security code, and sent it to him, first problem was the CD deck with it does not work, so I had to go back on ebay and source another one, this time, with security code and "tested as working " for £25, at the present time, i am still waiting for that to be delivered. I have not even had a "dispatched" notice yet and it's already been 2 full days since I purchased it. Hopefully it's already on its way, once he gets that he can start to upgrade the system, once it's done, he will send the whole thing back to me and I can fit it myself. Really looking forward to getting it up and running,
There is no way I could have done the upgrade myself, I read all the online write ups, several times, I think i'm ok with technical stuff, but this was all way over my head, that and with my eyesight, I doubt i could even pick out chips, let alone individual solders.

Do you guys have a way to contact Ben via email that you can share? I could not find one on his site and I'm not on Facebook. Very interested...

My upgraded unit is on it's way, hopefully be here by the end of the week, not that I can do much as the car is still off the road awaiting parts for the coolant leak, and then I need to find the time to fit them before i can even think about fitting the upgrade.

For my conversion on a touchscreen and CD player sent to him, including all parts and the Odroid Android computer with Wifi, GPS, Bluetooth, 16Gb eMMC storage. It has connections for a front and rear camera to connect. He recommended doing this on a spare unit from the likes of EBay, so that I could keep driving my car whilst the conversion takes place (which takes a few days or longer depending on how many he has waiting at the time). Also took a bit longer on mine because the CD player I supplied to him was faulty, I had to source another off Ebay and send it to him, he then had supply issues with new screens which were on back order. He could do it on a touchscreen with the Tape deck, which my original unit had, but said it could be noisy, so I opted to get get hold of a unit with CD. For that It cost me £600 plus P&P back to me, obviously postage to him is at your cost also, the price may vary depending on your needs etc, but that's what I paid and what I'm getting.

Coolant leak done, Upgrade fitting is next, hopefully at the weekend, if not before.
You will find all the info you could ever need on his web page https://jaguar.willcoxonline.com ,Including Instructions and a parts list if you want to attempt the upgrade yourself, Fitting instructions, Operating instructions, optional upgrades, with a list of optional parts you might want, including a reversing camera (Ebay £11.72 ), a DAB module ( Ebay £26.72 ), a Webcam with a built in Microphone ( Odroid £19.97 ) or just a USB Audio adapter ( Odroid £5.98 ). I got the DAB module and 2 reversing cameras, as I was thinking of putting one on the front, but not sure, I might just get the webcam, at that money, it's not a huge expense, and it's there if I want to use it.
