Default Mesh grille

Any suggestions for a nice aftermarket mesh grille to fit a 04 XJ8? I've seen a few on E-bay and and I believe Jaguar XP offers one, although I cannot find it on their web-page, but I'd like to
see if anyone has any specific recommedations. Some pic's would be nice as well

Not many places out there for our XJ's but you are correct Jaguar XP is one and the other is EuroToys
Check out the links below, they have your mesh grills and some other goodies..

Good luck!

FYI I'm having the 2008 Spoiler added to my XJR next week, will be adding pictures afterwards!

So did you decide to order the Jaguar XP grills or will you go with another kind?

I've been curious about how the lower mesh grill would look on the XJ. Post some pix after you get yours installed. I plan to add chrome mirror covers this spring as well.

Yes, I plan to add the chrome mirrors and also whees. By the way, does anyone have any experience with the chrome covers versus the replacement chrome caps? The covers are only half as expensive as the replacement chrome. I've wondered whether the cheaper covers still looked decent and would be a good value for the money. Any input?

Don

The mesh grills look great! I had trouble getting my stock upper grills out so I had to have the dealer install them. Were you able to install either set yourself? Also can the tow ring on the passenger side of the lower grill be accessed with the lower mesh in place? How hard is the lower piece to take on and off? Your center green caps.. do they merely install with 3M foam tape? I need some for my custom wheels I've ordered.

Thanks, did both on my own in about in hour. On the lower the opening for the tow hook is covered but one the lower is installed all you need to is remove four small screws to remove it. As for the center caps they are direct replacements for the stock units, you simply remove the old ones and snap these into the rim. With you having custom wheels I don't think the stock caps would work, as far as I can tell.

Thanks for the reply. I will probably order the lower mesh grill this summer and will have to buy the aftermarket center caps to replace the generic caps on my new wheels.

I just ordered a mesh grille insert kit from Welsh Enterprises for $105.95 + $9.95 FedEx.
It seems to be the best value out there.
I'll let you know.

They also had good prices on center caps.
