Default Mina Gallery Exhaust Delete Kit

I'm considering the exhaust delete kit from Mina but I'm afraid it will be too loud. I deleted both resonators and installed an x-pipe in their place. One option would be to install one of the two resonators after the x-pipe or a Magnaflow muffler with inner tru-x pipe, which what essentially would be a dual x-pipe system similar to Corsas' system for Mustangs.

Do you think this would be a good combination? Has anyone done straight pipes without resonators? Any issues with backpressure?

Thanks for the comments.

trust me a twin system with x pipe and no mufflers or resonators
is not something you or your neighbors want to listen to .
it sounds terrible !!

i have twin 2.5'' with 200cell cats , x pipe. two silver bullet resonators in the middle .
then down the back two glass pack step through resonators .
its a bit loud still . but acceptable. it sounds heavenly .

Thanks for the reply. That's what I thought and that is the reason I was thinking that putting back one of the resonators would help. Could you tell me which brand you used for the resonators and glass packs.

Any bad drone with your setup? Video?

I have 100cel cats, xpipe, and dynomax VT's for the rear boxes

Its too loud so much so I can no longer hear the supecharger wine.
Also the VT's become an open pipe when you step on the gas which is louder still.

I need some center resonators

Cheers

it had no drone until i fitted the 200 cell cats . now it has a little one but is isn't bad at all .
and only at 2500rpm under load . really quiet inside the car coasting.
the x pipe and cats are magna flow , the two center resonators are silver bullet's .
and the rear step through glass packs are turbo flow. all 2.5''.
i have voice memos of it but this forum i don't think will except them .
and nether does youtube .
i have a memo of 2.5'' system with stock cats .
and one with the cats / x pipe and no resonators .
which will be enough for any one never to do that again .
and one of the current system .
if you want them then PMme your email and ill send you them .
unless some one has an easy trick to upload to the thread ?

I may do four round resonators (two each side) which would be more expensive or a dual in/out high flow muffler in the middle and two bullets in the back.

Decisions decisions!

Reverend Sam,
The Mina exhaust system is much quiter than the stock exhaust. I know because I have the Mina exhaust and one day, three of us forum members got together, revved our engines and listened. My Mina system was not nearly as loud. I soon afterwards added an X-pipe and removed the center resonators. The tone of the exhaust changed to a deeper, richer sound, but is still very quiet. I still have my old OEM exhaust and may someday put it back.

I have a full 2.5” system with an X pipe and no resonators or mufflers. Sounds amazing under heavy acceleration and is surprisingly tame at idle but it drones at 1600-1800 rpm and high rpm cruising such as 80mph/2000rpm isn’t droning but is just straight loud. I have two 12” vibrant resonators to put on when I can find the time that should take the bite off the exhaust.
