I lost the clip while changing the expansion tank. Could not find any Jaguar specific clips online and my local Jaguar dealer had not returned my call after having to leave a message with the parts department. However, I did find a quick connect at my local Advanced Auto parts Dorman Part # 902-715 which seemed to be the size. I purchased it, took the clip off and placed on the hose to the expansion tank. So far so good with no leaks. Cost just a little over $12 and was available same day.

 

Wow! Great find! This has been a problem for at least 10+ years as no one could find that dang clip!
Has anyone else used it?
Sure looks close but can't tell the dimensions?

I corrected my post. The actual part was the Dorman 902-715 and was a little over $12 with a coupon. I had bought two different ones trying to match the size but the clip off the Dorman 902-715 was the one I used. The dimensions listed on the site are as follows;

Fitting Size End 1: 1 In
Fitting Size End 2: 0.75 In
