Well I have been looking all over the country for a 04 and up xj8/r for a good deal. I have about 16000 to spend and would like a car with under 60k on it. Has to have nav and not the oem wheels that have 8 -10 spokes. You guys see anything out there?

I did find this in Tampa that looked pretty good but then again it has 75k on it. So I'm not sure about this one. What do you guys think?

That one is too dolled up for me. If looking for an '04, make sure it has a later manufacture date that is in 2004. I would rather buy an '05 instead. The NAV is key, but I would only use OEM Jag wheels.

 

Texascarsdirect does not have that many cars these days, apparently Jag stopped their lease program so lease return supplies have been drying up.

 

It'll be hard to find a clean one at that price honestly. I have a 2005 superV8 they are loaded as you know. I think you need to come up a bit. But your'e looking at great years yes. 2004-2005. I'll let you know if I see something clean out there.

 

I saw a peach of an 04XJR in white, for $16k but had 89k miles. cars.com and located in AZ. I seriously thought about taking a loan for it. Very sharp, nice wheels too.

I got an 04 XJR with 69,500 for around what you are looking to pay. You are looking for this car in the peak of the summer. Search on Auto Trader and do it closer to winter. I bought mine the week after Thanksgiving last year.

You were asking me about mine, I was facing the same dilemma; I just couldn't find anything better so I decided to hold onto the XJ for a few more years. I was trying to find either an 05-06 XK8 or XKR coupe with <60K miles & <$35K. Now that is a rare animal, just 15 showing up on Autotrader across the whole US. There are lots of the 06+ new XK's out there but most still north of $40K so I'll just have to wait!

that white one I referenced above, just checked again and they have it reduced to $14k, but has 89k miles. Another white one just popped up here, for $19.9 (may have some negotiation wiggle room) and it only has 51k miles.

I have a beautiful 04 XJ8 Slate/Black with 74K on it (ust bought a newer one). Asking $14500 but would absolutely entertain a serious offer. OEM wheels with Pirelli P-Zero Nero tires. No nav, but the portable systems and smart phones with updatable nav are making DVD systems obsolete.

I have an 04 XJ8 with 56K miles, full service history, with warranty thru 5/11. Platinum with off-white leather. Recent brake job and tires <10K miles and 50k service with all fluids changed. Car is in great condition with no dings. Car has Xenons, Navigation, voice and cell phone.
