I have a xj8 2001 3.2. the heater pump is not live. I have checked it is working by putting a live connection to it, same goes for spot lights. there seems to be no power at the 2 fuses connected to them. Have again put a bypass wire to each fuse and both items function but live all the time. When fuse holders checked they are both dead, rest of board is ok. cheers clickclick

 

Are the fuses blowing when you replace them or did you just bypass blown fuses?

So I dont understand why you would bypass a fuse that had blown and not just replace it

as i have said none of the fuses are blowing. the fuse connection is dead.
