Default O2 sensor problem ??????

So I was scheduled to have the trans service done tomorrow but last night the car started running rough, like only 6/7 and not 8 cylinders. I do need O2 sensors, have them just haven't had time to replace them. This all said I want to mention what happens and what I tried and get some quick feedback before proceeding.

So rough idle and feels like its firing on 6 or 7 and not 8. So this morning I put the code reader on it and its giving me P301 and P307 (misfires).

First I pull the coil pack plug on cylinder 1, start the car and it runs rougher, replace it and clear the codes but still runs rough.
Then I pull the coil pack plug on 7 and it runs rougher, replace it and clear the codes still runs rough like above.

Code still says P301 and 307 but by pulling the coil plug and experiencing a rougher idle could this mean its the O2 sensors on the passenger side ? I see the misfire code can be many things including plugs and coil packs which I think I eliminated by my testing. I find it hard to believe both plugs and both coil packs are bad as there was notable difference in how the car idled when those plugs were pulled so O2 sensor ?

Thoughts guys ? I plan on doing the plugs in the future but do need to do the O2 sensors and need to time things accordingly. If Im putting in 2-5 hours to do something I want it to be the most important thing right now as my personal time is limited.

Also, anyone have a link to replacing the sensors then can offer up, I searched youtube and only came up with S type 6 cylinder or the older 308 bodystyle versions.

Thanks again always guys !

So long as you can get the front of the car up in the air the Oxygen sensors are very easy to replace. So long as they are not "stuck".

You have one just before the catalytic converter and one just behind it on both catalytic converters.

I forget which is which but one will have a grey connector and the other will have a black connector. Pay attention to the originals.

Hardest part for me was disconnecting the electrical connectors which took a little careful leveraging.

You need the engine running right before doing the trans because the two co-operate - and any engine issues just upset the trans or cause it to learn wrongly.

Things like O2 sensors are realistically wear items. Replace as needed.
