OBDII plug location

Question OBDII plug location
I have my engine light coming on and would like to check for fault codes with a scanner. Could anyone please tell me where the access plug is on my 05 XJ8L?

right knee, under dash next to console. no cover over it

..or if youre in a RHD country its under the bottom of the dash infront of your left knee pointing down around an inch to the right of the centre console
