Anyone else have problems with paint on their 2004 xj8 peeling? Its coming off around the front grille!

 

I have a couple of very small spots (around window trim) where the clear coat is peeling, but none on th front end. What is under the peeled portions? Is it possible that the car had a fender-bender, and the re-paint wasn't up to snuff?
