Default Poor paint issues XJR

My cars getting older judging by its bald spots. I have 2 of these British racing greens and a gentleman pulled in my driveway over the weekend with the exact car...neighbors probably thought i was nuts and buying another with the three of them there, but I had noticed something. All three were fading in the exact same spots. In front of the sunroof and in the back just above the rear window as well as the trunk lid. I mean they were in the exact same spot. Nothing more irritating to me than knowing someone spent almost 100k for this car new(3 of them none the less and thankfully not me) and received paint jobs that could have been done better than the boys at Maaco. Anyone else having this issue?

I have the same on my 2005 with the clear coat balding just above the rear window. Car is hand washed and waxed regularly. Silver, not black. My other, older, black jag still has perfect paint. Trunk is ok.

I suspect there is an air turbulence there that abrades the surface with road grit. Our is poor paint
