From the Vehicle Specification document, I'll guess Dexron 3!

When I try to access this "vehicle Specification Document", it says I do not have permission. Any idea why?

I've heard that any good ATF fluid will work...just don't go noname brand and you'll be good.

As for access, there's a sticky in the New Member Area, titled 'MUST READ', there's an explanation for new members on limited access, for just a short time.

Don't worry, give it a little time and you'll be just fine.

Thanks. Where do you buy your parts. Radiator hoses, belts, etc?

I've purchased almost entirely from the following places...
  • Motorcars Ltd, ask for Ken, he's a member here, beats the local dealer prices, and has a salvage operation for jaguars and rovers
  • Nalley Jaguar, Dan, a recent vendor/member here, has been very good to find part numbers, and he's offering some discounts to us jaguarforum members
  • Jpamporschejaguarparts is a great, interactive place (with illustrations), especially helfpul if you don't know part numbers or their correct name. Their prices are very good also, comparable to most online parts operations, but again, cheaper than local dealer prices

Thanks. I need a new expansion tank. I will check with those three sources and report the best deal.

I bought the tank from Nailey Jaguar. When you factor in free shipping, they had the best deal. Thanks for the tip.
