Anyone else having any trouble with the door puddle lamp covers disintegrating?(04 XJ8)I had all of mine replaced(under warranty). Dealer says that the Jag parts list for the XJ8 requires replacement of the whole door panel. The puddle lamps are identical to the ones in the S-Type, so they ordered the lamps for the S-Type and replaced them.

 

No trouble at all and I just looked at them recently. Why would replacement of the whole door panel be needed?

 

They say lamp not available seperately.

 

Doesn't that seem a little odd to you?
