Default Question for the gearbox people

I have an issue with the gearbox on my 3.0 V6 SE. 2003 I have had it diagnosed as the valve body which I am having a bit of trouble finding one however I can get a complete box from an S type 3.0 V6 2003.
Is it likely to be the same or would that just be wishful thinking ?
Thanks.

If it's a 6HP26, then it is the same.

The only possible issue is that the Mechatronics unit is not compatible between the two models. Unlikely to be the case and if there is an issue SDD could reflash the unit.

If there were an issue the unit from the original couild be swapped with no problem.

SDD will be needed in any case.

Thanks, there is an independent specialist fairly close to me who can sort that.
