My radio turns on and shows all the call letters and whats playing but there is no sound, If I leave the car for an hour or so the sound comes back. Also my overhead map lights no longer work, Any Ideas anyone Thanks. Edv468

 

There is a sound adjuster somewhere in 'car setup'. The volume is varied to suit the background noise inside the car, so that could be set wrongly, or it is not working.

Its on page 3-15 of the touch screen display handbook.

If you don't have the book, then press "eject " and "AM/FM" simultaneously on your system. This should bring up the small set up page.

I found the map lights work, when they are pressed/pushed relatively hard. The manual doesn't offer any further reasons or configurations.
