I originally posted this in the regional forums early this morning, but thus far have ZERO replies and so am reposting here in hopes of getting some assistance...


I am fairly committed to purchasing an '05 VDP within the next week. The car was originally purchased in Shreveport from the dealership there.


I am located in Texarkana, so Shreveport is about a 1 hr drive south. Dallas is about 2.5 hours southwest, and Hot Springs/Little Rock about 2 hrs northeast. I don't mind traveling to any of these larger cities to get really good work done by an honest independent mechanic...


Does anyone here on the forum have a recommendation for an independent mechanic that's in my vicinity, which is Southwest Arkansas/Northeast Texas? Or any experience with the dealership in Shreveport, which is the closest one to me?
