A tree on the edge of my driveway seemed to have jumped into the driveway (this is my story to the wife) as I made a right turn to park under my house (it is an odd house - see jumping trees). The right rear door handle was damaged and needs to be replaced. Got a good used door handle assembly on eBay and now I am asking for any sage advice on how to proceed to replace the assembly. Looked on YouTube and got some guidance. Does anyone have any suggestions for me?

 

Remove door "card" (upholstered door cover)

Remove black plastic moisture cover

Remove latch inside door after disconnecting it from exterior and interior handle .

Remove exterior handle and replace with new.

Search for details of the above using google and if you get stuck

post again and I will give details of how to proceed with pics.
