I bought a blank key/remote off ebay from a seller with 100% feedback for about 30 quid
Got the key part cut by a locksmith cost me about 20 quid
Got the transponder programmed by local indie for 20 quid. I only had one key so the existing one was wiped and both reprogrammed, took about 15 mins and most of that was waiting for the software to load up.
Programmed the remotes myself.
Cost a fraction of the 300+ it would have cost at the dealers
