SDD JLR for 2004 XJ8
Good day Folks
Has any one know a mobile Mechanic or a decent Jag Shop that has access and utilizes SDD JLR V160 to recalibrate my 2004 XJ8 ASM air suspension module, I replaced all 4 air suspension and compressor, the great people thought they can and able to recalibrate the ASM using a diagnostic scanner, they did a fantastic job but the vehicle now stuck in max hight mode.

You're stuck in max height because a generic scanner can't do the proper ASM calibration.
Call independent Jag/Rover shops and ask directly: Do you have JLR SDD V160 with a Mongoose cable for X350 air suspension calibration?
Where are you located?

There are many scenarios that can cause ASM to drive suspension high. Damaged suspension height sensor may be one of the causes. YOU NEED IDS; SDD or it's descendant application TO TRUBLESHOOT issue EFFECTIVELY or someone with a lot of experience and in-depth knowledge of JLR air suspension system.
To do it proactively, I would do a google for independent JLR shop in your area and quiz them if they have a specialist for X350-358 air suspension, not just coil over conversion. Call Jay Leno's garage in Burbank and ask if he can recommend someone in your area.

One other reason could be the air pressure release valve solenoid mounted to the compressor stuck closed . If Height sensors (3 or 4 faulty) or faulty installation would be my guess since the struts have been changed.
Recently got airsuspension struts changed , car went back up to normal height. In that case a Daimler super eight long wheel base programmed a litle higher + 10mm front and back over Sdd before new ones got installed. Why because of the incline to enter his garage and was touching with the normal hight 386mm front 373mm
Re Installation of the height sensors or damaged hight sensors or there fixation and sticks damage could have caused this car to go up this much.
has the battery been unplugged before the installation . Would have been the procedure so the height is saved till and after the install.
Another thing is the pressure release valve solenoid mounted to the compressor could be stuck closed / open but that should not be the case since it is new.
I would check the installation of the height sensors first ( if no Sdd available)). First generationAUDI tt with xenon lights have the same height sensors.
Then Try a hard reset on battery cables
i would put jacks underneath car, release air to at each strut touch those at 350mm height then start car again with battery plugged doing this.
then unplug for half an hour , do another hard reset, plug back in and start car.
