Hard to believe, but I couldn't Google even 1 website related to Security Light Location.
The same with this Forum, or I just don't know what should I'm looking for. So, where is
Security Light Location in 2004 Jaguar XJR?

I wonder if there is a way to use a paper clip to start Jaguar bypassing the immobilizer?
I know my GMC truck taking less than 1 minute to start it but Jag is a different type of animal.
If you know, send me PM please.

So you're asking someone tell you how to steal the car???
Sounds like maybe you're having a problem with the key not being recognized by the immobilizer and can't start the car? If so, why not ask about immobilizer issues instead of "Where's the light?

Keys ware re-programmed yesterday. You're right, I wanna to start car to get it from driveway
and to take it to dealer for complete diagnostic and repairs. Yeah guys, I know, call tow truck.
I probably will eventually, but not before I'll try every possible solution.

Forget the fantasy of the paperclip!!
You have mentioned it several times and no it won't work.
What your saying is confusing? First you got the keys reprogrammed but then you say the car still does not start? Then the keys were NOT reprogrammed.
You have to get back to basics and stop shot gunning parts and idea's?
Can you get the car hooked up to the Jaguar SDD system? Without codes we don't know what's going on?

above your post. BTW, please point me where I've mention otherwise.
where people come to share opinions, asking questions and provide
answers and yes, brainstorming.
No, I can't, I don't have one. Do you have one? My local dealer does
but it doesn't make house calls. Even without codes, I'm sure some
members had the similar problem before, so I hope they can share
with others their experiences.

So why did the locksmith leave after "programming" the keys that obviously didn't start the car? Personally, I don't think the keys were successfully programmed.
You can't fix your car by reading other peoples experiences? This is not Facebook? Your car does not care what other people think.
Without codes we simply don't know what's going on? That's why Woofshee and I keep asking questions?
These are complicated modern cars with dozens of modules and/or computers. The complexity is large. That's the reason all the car manufactures use these computerized diagnostic systems. There is no other way to manage this.
Jaguar calls theirs SDD (Symptom Driven Diagnosis). Yes I have an operating system and all the software as it is free BUT again it takes time and effort to get a working system. If you can't or won't get the car scanned with SDD or at least some kind of scanner your shooting yourself in the foot.
Can you answer Woofshee's question?
We are trying to help but remember we are strangers guessing on the internet and do not have your car to look at.
We NEED your help?

We need to clear up what has been programmed. With the key there are 2 parts that need to be programed:
First is the actual transponder in the key section of the key. I am pretty sure this needs thr jag software to do.
Second is the key fob that activates the alarm, opens doors etc. This can be done by without fancy software.
When key man does you a new key they typically clone the original key.
Starting with a paperclip sounds very odd.

Most likely according to auto electric have lost wire Fuses he used
to start the car has been solved, starting issue using "paper clip" bridge
I wasted money to pay for programming of 2 perfectly good keys of my own
