Default spark plug change interval

I have the maintenance schedule with all the wipers, filters, etc, is there one with more useful information?

Just been searching and found out that plugs in this engine are not platinum 100k mile type? Wow, flashback to 1987... I'm thinking with my idle vibration that 55k miles are original on the plugs. I would never go more than 30k miles on my old Chevy copper plugs.

What's is the OE brand?

Did my first set at 140,000 km after
None had failed but the adaptions were high on 2 cylinders which occasionally produced the misfire codes. One was a coil and the other was the plug

Both were working just not well

Replaced all 8 plugs and coils

Cheers

I think it is about 70k miles, but they really need taking out and inspecting well before that, not least to make sure they don't seize in !

I believe they would be NGK*Laser Iridium Spark Plugs - model IFR5N10. I just replace mine (2005 VDP) at 98k.

Thank you! Been doing some more searching, the OE plugs are NGK IFR5N-10? Which are platinum tipped and should be good for 100k miles (at the max). At least it's not using copper plugs! I was about to go look and see if it had points and a choke to adjust...

I may pull one or two to have a look, but I don't think anything should be wrong at 56k miles. I think the last time I did platinum plugs at 75 or 80k on my last car, they looked fine when I pulled them out.

Ha, posted at the same time--but thank you greg-05vdp, glad to know those are the right plugs!

Well, now I'm left wondering, if the plugs are good for near 100k miles, what else would give a less-than-smooth idle? Just the engine mounts replaced. Cleaned the TB, filters are new. One of the old service records said "indication of misfire but no CEL set." Engine runs smooth otherwise.

. I noticed as soon as I posted. What about the fuel injectors and /or fuel filter? Sorry, my knowledge of what to trouble-shoot is limited.
