I have searched this before, but can't seem to find the information right now. I am looking to find pics of staggered wheels on an 04-07 XJ8/XJ8L. Specifically 49mm front, 31mm rear. Also, if you had any clearance issues, I would be interested in that info as well. I currently have the standard 19x8.5" 5 spoke's on my 05 XJ8L, but found a set of staggered wheels that I really like. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

 

DO NOT DO IT. I bought a set of staggered wheels off an XK for my XJ and I have had to drive the car so carefully to make sure it doesn't hit the inner fender. The rear tires are simply too wide to do fit. They do look damn good, but its not worth it. If you're getting the staggered wheels because of how they looks, then buy two sets of the same staggered wheels. Keep the fronts on both of them and sell the rear ones.. XK owners usually like the wider tires anyways so you shouldn't have any problem selling the 4 rears as a set.

 

I ran the exact wheels you guys are talking about off an XK. Long story short, yeah the rears are all wrong, ET31 is too little you need ET46 up to ET50...

The later XK (ones that got the 5.0) had a change in rear axle and went to the same offset as the XF and XJ, so if you get a staggered set off one of the later ones then it can work.
