The in-dash display defaults to a bright and ugly menu. I'm wondering if there's a way to get it to default to the logo screen. I've looked through all of the menus...

Here's what I see:

 

Normally, if you have the radio on, it will show the radio screen at startup. The same applies if you have th eradio off, but the aircon on, it should show the climate control screen at startup.
The logo screen can only be shown if all systems (radio, aircon, navigation) are set to "off".

Is it possible to adjust the screen so that the logo appears after some time? It's much more convenient than pressing buttons.

 

As far as I know, this is not possible.

It seems so strange that jaguar, in their pursuit of luxury, would make such a blunder. The screen is bright and distracting. Were they so impressed with their in-dash touch screen at the time that they wanted to wave it in people's faces?

 

I never thought of it as a blunder, as I do not like the logo screen at all and prefer to have the radio screen on most of the times. For me, the blunder is more that the logo screen shows the Leaper, I like would have liked the Growler better..

But then, that's personal taste...

That's right, but it's always nice to be able to choose from different options.
