As some may have read I had started on a steering wheel restoration on a wheel I purchased off E-bay.

The wheel didn't turn out as I had hoped so I decided I'd wrap it in leather using a combo or smooth and perforated leathers. Then when the original steering wheel was removed I'd try my hand at restoring it using what I learned on wheel number one. Below are some pic's of the leather wrapped wheel which I installed today.

you must be a patient person

very fiddly work there was a guy here in Australia that used to do wheel recovering he has since died and I have never heard of anyone doing it again

I often used to buy old steering wheels and get them recovered yours looks fantastic might be a calling LOL
