Default Super 8 Long time dog?

Hi all, I saw a Super V8 FS, 1 owner, 135k on the ticker and he claims he NEVER had any of the typical x350 repairs done, none needed according to his mechanic. No water pump, tie rods, control bushes, headliner, etc. How possible is this?? Only maintenance like a Honda(even my hybrid accord has issues sometimes).

Maybe they're unique to the 04-09s that I've been shopping.

Hmm.

Service life of certain components seems to be very short in my experience. My car needed rear lower wishbones before 50k miles came up, and an air suspension compressor at around 35k. I have also replace the lower rear shock bushes too, and a rear roll bar link. I must say I find it hard to believe this owner had nothing to replace; it is just not credible based on what I have seen on this forum. Only anomaly I have found is that the air springs seem to last forever in the UK but in the USA are a common failure after a certain mileage. Very strange !

bushes not changed? Either he is driving on worn-out bushes or he is fibbing.

60K miles is a typical life.

Crawl underneath and see how old they look.

Can you trust someone who is trying to sell you a used car?

No Piglet, least of all on feebay, but they do have a number of safeguards in place for lying sellers. They've sold 5 million vehicles a\with like a 98% satisfaction overall though.

135k, 1 owner 05 Super V8. He claims his english accented mechanic claimed that his car never needed, control arms, water pump, air compressor, air shox, etc...I tink someone lying....!
