Supercharger Empty!
Unplugged the supercharger reservoir & nothing came out but the stink! Have they been known to go dry? Certainly no indication of a leak anywhere.
Thanks and best,

Almost feel ridiculous explaining:
Have SC off the car. Removed oil plug & turned upside down & only a smidgen came out. However, after arranging sc & walking away for a few hours, a reasonable amount of oil came out. Will measure amount & turn her various ways to be sure.

There isn't a huge ammount in it about 120ml if I remember right, I think thats 7 and 3/4 of a furlong in strange American units.

Hi Steve,
The usual way of changing the supercharger oil is to put a long thin tube onto a syringe and suck it out. Refilling it is done the same way. Note that the quantity is set, and it is not just filled until it leaks out the filler port.

I would not use solvent with the rotor pack inside. The black coating will start to come off. You can remove the snout then rotor pack and clean the housing. There are needle bearings in the rear to be careful of too. Resealing everything is easy using a loctite sealer on the flanges
