Default supercharger removal electrical connector release

Hello, thanks to the great members of this forum, I'm making steady progress in removing engine components to replace the knock sensors under the supercharger on my 2004 XJR. I'm at the point where I need to disconnect the electrical connectors near the throttle body, and I'm a bit stumped about how to release them. The ones in question have a red tab that slides up, and I thought this would release the mating connector, but when I pull it, it doesn't budge. Everything is so old and fragile, I'm worried about breaking the plastic. Does anyone know what I'm missing?

Can you double check to see if raising the red security collar reveals a black tab that can be pressed? I haven't disconnected the harnesses on my engine for a couple of years, so not sure I recall correctly. If I am remembering properly, the red collar conceals and prevents the locking tab from being accidentally released. Good luck!
