Default Surplus connector, right rear of engine?

Hi all,
In the middle of doing the valley hose on my N/A 4.2L and I have this connector at the right rear (USA passenger side) of the engine that I am not sure where it connects to.
It comes from the loom behind the block, fairly short length of wire, one red, one yellow feeding a two pin black connector with white insides.
Its not the fuel temperature sensor, nor the little item attached to the engine cover bracket.

I cannot find anything else back there that it could reach and connect to, what did I forget?

Not the fuel temperature sensor, are you sure?

Hi Windrider,
thanks for the reply.

Turns out it was the camshaft position sensor. I was not thinking straight and while I could see the sensor itself, and the wire leaving it, I was forgetting there would be a pigtail/connector arrangement and this had disappeared down the back of the engine/intake manifold.
I retrieved it using a claw tool and all is well.

Car is back together, and survived a long test run with no issues.
