Suspension Tilts After Driving Through Water

Yes, driving through deep water could cause a problem such as damage to a ride height sensor. The sensors are mounted to the control arms and have little short hinged arms. You can check to see if the arm was broken or dislodged, or if the electrical connector is full of water.

I had exactly the same symptoms triggered by standing water in the road. Problem was a failing rear right wheel height sensor which worked fine sometimes. Driving through deepish water caused the entire right side of the car to go to full suspension height. Left side remained at normal height.
