Default Throttle body help??

Hi,
I'm having issues with my Throttle body or TPS? What's the circled connector in the pictures - tb motor connections? Can the connector b unbolted and removed/refitted without issue? Any loose or parts or adjustments inside? I want to remove it so I can check the previous repair (looks like pins soldered to end of harness?). Also, if I need to remove the TB , can I unbolt the black plastic part to allow for easy removal of TB? Any reason not to use this connector on a new TB if I need to replace my TB?

2005, VDP 4.2L

Can I remove this circled connector from the TB? Is there anything spring loaded or loose parts to be aware of or any adjustments i shoukd b aware of?

Looks like otiginal harness connector was removed by previous owner and new pins installed on harness?

Default R U Looking At the Throttle Body

I just removed & reinstalled my throttle body while replacing hoses. What I see in your pictures doesn't look like the TB. It may well be & I'm just not seeing it correctly.
Wish I could be more helpful.

Best,

Steve S.

Hi Steve,
That's because it's a normally aspirated motor not a supercharged one like ours.

WPT-1269 is female connector. If male connector is ok, the 1269 will fit perfectly. Wires from the new connector to the appropriate wires in the wiring harness can be crimped (seller provides hardware), or soldered and covered with heat shrink.
