Trans fluid after radiator replacement
I have read as many posts as I can find regarding the replacement of the radiator in my 2004 NA model and am gathering all the odds and ends prior to beginning the adventure. One thing I am unsure of is how much transmission fluid will be lost during the process? I am not really looking forward to checking the fluid level given the somewhat involved nature of checking the fluid level. I just want to have an idea of what to expect in case I am off a bit in checking the level. I don't really see any mention of others even checking the transmission fluid after replacing their radiator so perhaps the loss is minuscule. Any thoughts?
Not much came out of mine.
The front end was jacked up for a few days.
While everything else was being removed.
Transmission lines were the last thing disconnected.
Before removing the radiator.
And the first thing reconnected.
Right after replacing the radiator, a few minutes later.
Good Luck
