Default Valve block in trunk

My air shock compressor started making an awful racket, a new ring was no help.
A new R M T compressor is on the way to me.
Was wondering if the valve block in the trunk is able to be rebuilt.
Or does it need to be replaced if it is leaking?
Most likely suspect if the shocks & compressor are in good shape.
The O'rings inside of the solenoid.replacement would be an inexpensive easy fix.
Has anyone rebuilt it or is replacement the only solution?????

I don’t know about the insides of the valve body, but there are O rings on all the lines going into it. You should be able to replace those if you have the right o rings.

Wingrider, be careful if you get round to undoing the pipe supplying the Valve Block from the Reservoir...It comes away at a fair old lick!

Thanks, that makes sense.
I figured most if not all of the air would be expelled.
When the supply line to the compressor was removed.
Was trying to be pro active with the air system.
The supply block has the potential to cause issues

Someone more knowledgeable than me may well correct this, but I think only the air in the compressor supply line is expelled at the loosened compressor fitting. The relevant valve in the Valve Body allows the air supplied by the compressor into the Reservoir and then back out when it is needed at the Air Shocks?

I only assume this is so because (on a friends car) we had the compressor disconnected, but still got a subsantial 'blow-out' when we disconnected the line from the Reservoir to the Block?

Your probably correct, & should stop loosening the supply line, when it starts to release the air from the tank..

Yes Wingrider....It is not a big issue, but with us it blew out so forcefully, it pulled the olive off the end of the pipe and it 'pinged' it and the compression fitting around the boot (trunk)?

So I think what you suggest makes sense.
