I was derailed from installing my water/meth kit by 2 busted front UCAs, and also ever-more-serious transmission problems, which now include 2-3 & 3-4 flares. Went to a shop, they could not communicate with the TCM.

Can anybody please help me with educating me on what exactly to buy when searching for a Rotunda VCM for my 04 Super V8 SWB?

I see $1500-$1800 options on ebay that will 100% work, I also see $400 units with Ford logos on them. Interesting bit is the expensive options also have Ford written on them.

Could you please confirm whether one can purchase a Rotunda VCM made for Ford, and somehow stick Jaguar software in it?

Or if anybody can give me a link to a VCM that can work on my Jag, 'twould be awesome!

PS: I can buy from wherever EXCEPT the UK. Since Brexit it means I have to deal with the morons from our Customs. EU prefferred, but US is also OK, I have a forwarding company that deals with the red tape.

all VCMs have ford mercury lincoln badges. mazda ids, aston martin ids, jaguar ids or ford ids flashes the vcm any time you switch . Honda teradyne gna600s can also be used they're blue

just find the cheapest set with both cables that looks legit. 300 bucks or under is a fair price anything more should not be entertained

you start IDS and it will recognize and flash the VCM
