I'm looking to buy a mongoose cable + IDS or possibly WDS.
The problem is that I can only find the IDS software from version V130 and up.
The search results form this forum tell me that version V118.5 works with the x300-range, but what is the latest version from IDS (or WDS) that is confirmed to work with the x300 range? I can't find any V118 copies online..

Main reason for purchase is TPS and O2 calibration

 

A ford WDS converted to Jaguar is what alot of people are using for the older cars. You used to be able to get a complete setup from eBay or similar for about $400. I don't see them that often anymore. The WDS software is available from many of us on the forum.

It is going to cost more than that for an IDS setup. You will need a Pentium 4 laptop with Windows XP, a VCM and cables as well as the software (DVD 42 or 43 (Jaguars up to 2006) all the way up to IDS 118-5 that will work for Jaguars up to 2009).

The Drew Tech Mongoose Pro was issued some years ago but it will only work with SDD125 onward to 2014MY.
