Default Wanting to upgrade my 2006 XJL

Hello, I have been searching and have seen some threads about upgrading electronics in the XJ series, but am new to the forum and seem to not yet have access to many of the features. I am looking to add a factory navigation, bluetooth, Sirus, and rear video monitors and cotroller in the center console. Would also like to add front seat heaters, rear too if feasable.

Looking for great outlets to get used parts (already searching e-bay), lists of what I need as I am assuming my car is not wired or ready for these upgrades, and want to do the work myself (love to get to know the parts and pieces of the car), so I need some direction of where to find manuals of how to take things apart without damage.

Thank you in advance to everyone who will assist.

Cheers,

Tim D.

If you don't have factory nav - don't bother - factory nav is not all that great.

Get a double DIN nav unit with much better tech and get it fitted in the place of your factory radio.

You can get bluetooth, video, ipod, sat etc. + much better nav system all in one unit and overal better price. There were a few threads in the "electronics" section, how to get a mounting hardware for a double din unit.
