Default Whistle under load

I am hearing a whistle when I open the throttle, especially under load. It stops when the car is cruising and is not evident at idle. This would indicate something related to the throttle body or vacuum leak, but I am getting no indications of a leak.
Has anyone experienced this?

Thanks in advance.

I think I know what it is. I worked on the cooling system (radiator, water pump, thermostat housing, valley hose, etc.) and I think I am hearing it bleed steam. It does not make the noise when cold and I even heard it when the engine was off. It also seems like it is less pronounced. We shall see.

I think it was just an object hitting the climate control fan. Just would happen under acceleration. Oh, well. Funny how one talks themselves into things. Thanks for the reply.
