Will '04 Brembos fit '06 XJR?
Hey all.
After searching for quite a while, I finally found the right deal for an '06 XJR and picked it up last week. Thus far, I couldn't be happier with the car and the deal that I got on it... except for one little thing. Of course '06 was the year where Jaguar cheaped out and didn't put brembo brakes on the XJR. So, my question is, if I find a solid used set of 04 or 05 XJR Brembos can those bolt on to an 06 without major mods? If it does take modifications how complex are they.
Thanks for any suggestions you might have.

Wow, its one thing to "decontent" a later model car by taking out some sound insulation or trim part, but the brakes! I am surprised and curious what others have to say about this. I have no idea about retrofitting.

Brembo rear brakes use a separate handbrake caliper. Brembo also cost a lot more in pads and discs than standard.
