I need to replace a connector to the aux coolant pump. A quick call to the parts dept and I'm told it looks like you will need a harness for $1800. HUH?? If I'm reading this Alldata chart correct. The wire colors are brown and red and the other black. What I'm not sure of is the CP1-5 and CP!-4. The symbol indicates they are connector but are they quick release? If they are, looks like I might be able to buy a replace connector. It's been quite a few years since I have looked @ auto wiring so I'm asking if anyone can agree/disagree with me.

Update: Well that didn't work well @ all. Pic way to small. Anyway I was hoping I could be able to get a grip before i took the long ride to the dealer this afternoon.

 

A trip to a salvage yard will get the connector easier than a trip to the dealer.
I know connectors are available for VW/AUDI cars but Jaguar usually sells the entire harness section.

Yup, I just got back and of course they didn'y help much @ all. I did prepay for the front tag braket so it wasn't total wasted. Seems like you can't prepay over the phone with a credit card there, has to be in person. Of course no extra measures where taken to ensure I was who I said I was.

I'll start the search tomorrow but in the mean time I think I'm going to come up with a some sort of a rig.
