X350 cooling fan

Does anyone have any information on how the fan is controlled
and what type it is ?
it appears to be a brushless DC design, but how is it controlled by the computer ?
PWM ? CANbus ?

part number is:
930-0015-11 ( I think)
so there are four connectors
obviously the two large ones are power and ground
and the two small ones are control.. but is one data/PWM and the other feedback (like RPM )
or both data etc...

Not sure exactly what inputs the fan recieves, but that is the control unit integrated into the back of the fan.
We sell the complete Genuine Assembly for $410.31
Thanks

sorry, I am a bit confused...
I think what you are saying....
large connector: (on right in photo)
right conductor in photo - Brown/green stripe - large 10GA wire - Ground
left conductor in photo - Black - large 10GA wire - 12V+ power to fan
Small connector:
right conductor in photo - White/Blue stripe - small 18GA wire - 12V+ power to module
left conductor in photo - Green/Blue stripe - small 18 GA wire - PWM from ECM
you say it is definitely controlled with PWM ?
thats great !
do you have any other information on the PWM signal ? does it just control RPM ?
frequency range ?
thanks !!

sorry i double checked the wiring dia..
right: connectors in pic. big wires
green/brown -ground
brown/green - power
left: small
white and blue pwm from ecm -COOLING FAN MODULE CONTROL: PWM, 140Hz, POSITIVE DUTY CYCLE RANGE 7% – 95%
green and blue -power
